What is the best time to visit The Galapagos?
Because of Ecuador's location in relation to the equator, the weather
does not change much (expect rain showers here and there, especially
in the afternoons). Days are warm and nights cool.
Do I need a passport or visa?
If you are a U.S. or Canadian citizen you only need a valid passport.
Citizens of other countries should check with the Ecuadorian consulate.
Do I need shots?
No special precautions need to be taken when traveling to Ecuador. It
is recommended, however, that you drink only bottled water while traveling.
How about money?
In Ecuador, the U.S. dollar is used. Most ATM's accept only cards within
the “Cirrus” system.
